Weekly Weigh In and Comment Frustration
Todays weight 111.8kgs!!! Total loss 19.9 kgs :) Super excited about that result and definately no complaints since its that time of the monthg and all.
I am getting very frustrated with not being able to comment. I think one comment of every ten I actually write seems to be posted. Very frustrating, to all those who have posted new comparison pics - I have commented on how great you are all looking - but blogger is being a bitch and they are not posting. I especially love it when fellow bloggers post comparison pics so I nearly always try on comment when they do. I find it to be very encouraging when people comment and kinda feel that all this work is somehow being validated even when you struggle to see it in the mirror.
Since I had my fill of .3ml at the start of May the scale has made a steady decline. I think I am at the point where I no longer need a fill, I just need to start watching what I am eating and just keep plugging away. My next appointment with my surgeon is on the 15 June. My 7 month anniversary exactly. I hope to lose 21.7 kgs by then, that would have me at 110kgs. That would be awesome!
As for the commenting I will keep plugging away, hoping that they will get through! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I am feeling like I might be starting to get the dreaded cold/flu so I am on the defensive and filling up on medication in the hope to nip it in the bud.

Ramble ramble ramble...
When it's cold and dreadful outside it is so nice to be able to do a workout inside. I am loving the new Biggest Loser Wii game.
I did a 20 minute circuit this morning, my arms are still aching and it wasn't even that hard (?) crazy. I definately need to start toning my body. I do alot of team sports which is great cardio but not much toning really happens.
I have felt like I have had some serious brain-fog over the past few weeks. I am hoping that it is now clear and things can now start to make sense again. Thank you for the lovely comments :)
Tomorrow is my birthday! I will be 29, the last year I get to say "I'm in my 20's!". Tomorrow is also 13 years since Charlie and I have been together. Strangely it does feel like that long but yet it also feels like forever!!

6 month comparison pics!
Tomorrow is my 6 month anniversary! The past 6 months have gone by so quickly. I won't know my official weigh in until tomorrow but I just wanted to share some pics with you. The top picture is October last year - approx 2 weeks before surgery. The bottom is me this morning - 1 day shy of 6 months.
I am so happy with the decision I made all those months ago (18 months ago to be exact). It has been a long wait, I had to wait 12 months before my health insurance would cover a portion of the cost. There have been plenty of ups and downs, it has been an emotional rollercoaster. But you know what? I wouldn't change a thing! This has been the best investment I have ever made in myself and I am finally starting to feel like I was worth it.

Hello my name is Kellie and I am a scale whore.
Yes that is correct I have completely lost the plot. I will move the scale around the floor just to see if I get a lower result in a different spot!! That is slightly crazy, but I can't see me changing my behaviour anytime soon. Admitting you have a problem is the first step though...right?
I was a little excited this morning. Stepped on the scale and I am now down 18kgs!!! YAY!
Progress of this week's goals:
Iced coffee - Bad!
Water - Good!
Exercise - Excellent!
As Sunday will be my official 6 month post surgery date, I will be posting comparison pics as well as measurements. My previous measurements are from February but they should give me an indication of how far I have come.
Work has been hectic and Portia has been in top form since last Friday's fill. I am still struggling with my head about food quantity, so I am glad Potia is doing her job to keep me on the straight and narrow.
Weather here has been cold, cold, cold! Blah I really dislike the cold. I seem to be feeling it so much more this winter. Does anyone alse feel the cold more and more as they lose weight? Bring on summer is all I have to say!

Weekly Weigh In Update
Last week's weight 115.5kgs - todays weight 114.5kgs. That's a loss of 1kg this week. That's a great result.
As for my goals I set for this week, I increased my water intake, I reduced by flavoured Iced Coffee intake and I increased my exercise. 3 out of 3 is a fantastic result!!
I had a 0.3ml fill on Friday. It didn't seem to be making much difference but late yesterday it started to kick in :) I think this may be my - dare I say it - sweet spot? Let's hope so anyways!!
I have been really lucky that I have never had any pain with my fills, he has been able to find the port first time everytime. Apart from my slight overfill in March I have not had any major issues at all. He seemed happy with my progress, which is always good, and I have booked another follow up appointment in 6 weeks to see how I am travelling.
Next week is also my 6 month bandiversary! That 6 months has gone so fast!
I hope to reach 20kgs gone by my birthday. My birthday is in 14 days and I now have 2.8kgs to go. It's a stretch but I think it can be done. I will keep inline with last week by continuing to set myself weekly goals and given the success of my goals last week I might keep them the same for this week.
I hope all you mum's out there have a lovely Mother's Day :) I received a beautiful patent leather purse which I L.O.V.E!

Got em' back ;)
Well today is not an official weigh in but I am pleased to report that I got rid of the pesky 0.5kgs I put on last week. Hallelujah!

Weekly Weigh In Update
Can I skip this one? Please, pretty please..... No, oh ok then :(
This morning I stepped on the scale ... and a gain of 0.5kgs happened!!! Those pesky Easter chocolate bunnies have finally caught up with me! I knew it would be bad, but I am glad the damage isn't too bad.
April was a slow loss month for me. 1.6kgs in total. That's not ideal. I initially hoped to lose at east 2-3kgs a month. OK to be honest I really just want to get to the magical 20kgs loss! Grr. Maybe May will be my month!
May is a pretty big month for me, there are a couple of family birthdays (including my mum's and mine!), it is also my anniversary of when Charlie and I got together (way back when 13 years ago), and of course who can forget Mother's Day!
I brought myself a beautiful new purse for Mother's Day (from the kids of course!) I can't wait til Mother's Day so I get to open and use it!! I spent a lot more than I normally would, but I justified it as being a weight loss reward too. I didn't quite get to the 20kgs I wanted but 16kgs is worth celebrating too - right? Please say yes!!
It is my mum's birthday tomorrow - Happy Birthday Mum!! (I know you read my blog!!) We are planning on having tea out but I'm thinking I might do a nice home cooked meal. I'll wait and see how I feel after work tomorrow. I am sure she would love either option.
