By no means am I bald yet but I am starting to seriously consider if I would look good in a bandana or maybe a good ol' beanie will do the trick! I'm a little scared cause I have an odd egg-shaped head - it's not all that attractive really.
I remember when I was young I watched an older TV program where they were teaching young girls old school etiquette. I would try and try to walk with a book balanced on my head, but it always slipped to the sides no matter how straight my back was or how slowly I moved!!
Anyway I digress, I am hoping that I might be able to take something to reduce these adverse effects. The less breakage shampoos are not working, all they seem to be doing is causing my scalp to itch. I seem to have a very sensitive scalp all of a sudden. Something which I never used to have. Do any of you have this same problem? Have you found anything that helps or even just reduces the loss??

mind fell out like crazy the whole time I was losing weight. Around about last summer it started to grow back...I now have a halo of very short hair underneath my longer old hair...it drives me crazy because it make my hair wild and fuzzy.
ReplyDeleteI am happy however that i didnt go bald :)

If you find the answer I would love to know!
ReplyDeleteI have so much protein everyday and my hair is still falling out all over! I am a little over 4 months out so it must be about the time it happens. I was in GNC yesterday and picked up biotin and also something else which I have to get the bottle to see. They highly recommended for hair loss. I would still rather be thinner with "thinner" hair then how I felt before! :)
ReplyDeleteB-1 and B-12 is what I have heard to take!! I have such a small amount of hair thank goodness it is not falling out!
ReplyDeleteMine has fallen out like crazy too. It's scary the amount of hair that I collect up and throw away on a daily basis. Everyone here said not to worry about it but secretly I still do. I used to have a very thick head of hair. Now it's normal thickness...not super thin yet. My hair is long so it's going to take a long time for those new hairs to catch up on growth (if they ever come!)
ReplyDeleteMy hair started falling out about 3-4 months post-op and continued for several months. Luckily it slowed down before it became noticable.
